Adults Ministry
Singles make up a large portion of the adult population in the Columbia area. We have three great groups within our Singles: 20 Somethings, for singles age 20 to 27, Young Professionals, for ages 28-38, and Single Adults, for ages 30 and up. Click Here for more details.
Significance and purpose are discovered, developed, and strengthened in community. The best way to develop community is through meaningful relationships. Shandons Married Adult Ministries help you build those relationships with God and others. Click Here for more details.
The Senior Adult Ministry of Shandon Baptist Church encompasses those in the general age range of 60 and up. Our belief is that the senior years are not a time for people to simply retire to the rocking chair, but a time to catch a second wind and make a real difference in life using the wisdom and resources that God has afforded them. Men's/Women's Ministry
Our Men's Ministry here at Shandon Baptist Church exists to help men build relationships with each other and with Christ and to provide opportunities for service, in their church and community. Click Here for more details.
The Women's Ministry at Shandon is a vibrant part of our church community. Whether through conferences, Bible studies, service or social events, the Women's Ministry exists to connect women to one another, to Christ, and to His Church. Click Here for more details.
Shandon College Ministry
Shandon College Ministry is both an on-campus student organization at the University of South Carolina and a ministry of Shandon Baptist Church. As such, we believe that our purpose is to serve the students of Columbia's various college campuses and to function as a fruitful and contributing member of the local church and the larger body of Christ.

Student Ministry
Our goal is to reach the 803 area for Christ by helping students become true, lasting disciples that impact our community. Way too many students are exiting high school and leaving “their parent’s religion” behind. We want students to experience a faith and relationship of their own. Through a partnership with parents, we help our students develop their own personal relationships with God and give them opportunities to put it into action. Learn more about the 803 High School Ministry or the 803 Middle School Ministry.
Children's Ministry

Our desire in the Children's Ministry is for our kids to know God, love God, and follow Him. We want them to become fully devoted followers of Christ. We want to partner with families as they lay a spiritual foundation so that - in God's timing - their children will be led into a relationship with Christ. There are a lot of exciting opportunities for you to get involved! Click Here for more information about the Children's Ministry!
