Prayer Warriors
Beyond individual prayer, there are many ways to be involved in prayer at Shandon, including an intercessory prayer room and various prayer groups. Listed below are some of the opportunities that are available.
Pray Daily for Shandon

The Prayer Room
Shandon members volunteer to serve one hour per week in the prayer room. This ministry serves the prayer needs of our church, our church members, and the community. A key component is the 24-hour prayer line through which individuals can leave prayer requests.
Serving in the prayer room also energizes your personal prayer life. As you spend time praying over the needs of others, you will experience growth in your own faith and prayer life as you see how people are blessed by the care shown to them.
Worship Service Prayer Teams
Volunteers for this prayer opportunity participate in prayer during a given worship service on Sunday mornings. Prayers are lifted up for the Pastor, for spirit-filled worship, for salvation of the lost, and for many other things. These teams invite God to move powerfully and to make a life-changing impact on people.
GAPS (Growing A Praying Shandon)
The GAPS Prayer group meets weekly to pray together for the church and its ministries. Prayer focuses on praying for Shandon to be effective in fulfilling God’s will for our church.
