Student Ministry Discipleship
When: Monday, Jun 18, 2012, 5:30pm
Group: Student Ministry
Small Group Discipleship is for students 6-12th grade. Each group is separated by gender- no matter what your grade, each student starts at the same level. We have four levels of Discipleship.
Discipleship 101 deals with the basics of Christianity. Here, we build the foundation for the other levels of discipleship.
Discipleship 201 will teach the studentshow to study the Bible and interpret Scripture. Instead of reading a passage and asking, "What does this verse mean to me?", our students will learn to ask and answer the question, "What is the meaning of this passage?"
Discipleship 301 is our final level of curriculoum study. We will be looking at apologetics- Students in this level will learn how to defend their orthodox Christian faith.
Discipleship 803 is the culmination of everything we have learned in our Discipleship 101, 201, and 301. In this level, we move from the church to host homes where students will invite their nonChristian friends to a Bible study each week that they (with the help of an adult leader) put together with the other students in their 803 group.
