To schedule an appointment, contact Lee Hutson e-mail or phone (803) 782-1300 ext 121. We are also glad to provide recommendations and referrals to local Christian counseling programs.

Help and healing for kids with parents going through separation or divorce

Hope and healing when you've lost a loved one

It hurts to lose a loved one, but you don’t have to go through the grieving process alone. Led by people who understand what you're going through, GriefShare support groups provide resources to help you recover from your loss and look forward to rebuilding your life.

Here for you in life's most serious moments

We are honored to provide these services for our members. We also list bereavement announcements in our weekly email. To inquire about weddings or to notify Shandon of a death or hospitalization, contact Lee Hutson: or call (803) 782-1300 ext. 121.

When you can't come to church, we'll come to you

The Homebound Ministry acts as a bridge between Shandon and our members who are physically unable to attend church activities. Shandon members are added to the Homebound Ministry at the recommendation of their Sunday School teacher. Ministering to homebound church members is a special opportunity to connect with someone who has little contact with the outside world through home visits, phone calls and delivering flowers. To learn more about serving with the Homebound Ministry, contact Lee Hutson: or (803) 782-1300 ext. 121.

Financial assistance when you need it most

Shandon provides short-term financial support (benevolence) for church members who have demonstrated the need for such care. Financial assistance is evaluated and provided on an individual basis. Not a member of Shandon? We provide a referral to local benevolent organizations that Shandon contributes to financially for this purpose. To inquire, contact Lee Hutson: or (803) 782-1300 ext 121.
