National Partnership

Shandon's Missions Ministry is proud to announce the formulation of a partnership with the Chicago Metropolitan Baptist Association which will run until December 2014.  Chicago is one of the most culturally diverse cities in the world, with the vast majority of its citizens without a personal relationship with Jesus.  Through this partnership Shandon will provide financial, prayer, and people resources to assist the leadership of the CMBA and also specific local congregations in developing and implementing strategies for planting new churches and also strengthening existing churches.

Plans are in the works for two adult mission trips to Chicago this year.  Other age group ministries are also contemplating the sending of mission teams from Shandon in the next couple of years.

2013 Mission Trips to Chicago:

Monday, August 5 – Sunday, August 11 (Estimated Cost $900)

Tuesday, October 22 - Monday, October 28 (Estimated Cost $800)

These teams will work with our church planting partner, Mosaic Church, to help them build awareness in the Wicker Park area through community service and events.
