International Partnerships

Campinas, Brazil

In January 2007, Shandon began a five year partnership with Hope Unlimited for Children in Campinas, Brazil, which is near Sao Paulo. Hope Unlimited for Children is a residential ministry which rescues children off the streets of Brazil and also receives children from difficult home situations. Besides giving them an education, teaching them marketable trade skills and teaching them life skills, the ultimate goal is to lead them to a personal relationship with Christ. 

Managua, Nicaragua

In January 2009, Shandon will begin a three year partnership with Chosen Children Ministries (CCM) in Managua, Nicaragua.  CCM is a ministry based in Inman, SC, which is dedicated to evangelizing and discipling the poor of Nicaragua through medical, construction, evagelism, and discipleship projects.  Mission trips will be planned each year to provide Shandon members hands on opportunity to assist CCM in fulfilling its vision and purpose.
