What is Sunday school like?

Sunday morning offers our students to build relationships with students of the same gender and grade.   When a student comes in they take part in the general assembly at the beginning – a time for announcements, games, and songs.  Once the assembly has ended, the middle school students will go to their own section to listen to their master teacher before breaking up into their own small group.  The high school students will stay in the main youth room to hear a short message from Pastor Frank before splitting off into their own small group.

Small groups range anywhere from 5-12 students with one lead teacher per group.  This time, usually lasting about 30 minutes, gives students a chance to go deeper into the Word while allowing them to ask questions and interact with their peers as well as the lead teacher.

What Time is Sunday School?

We actually don’t just have one set hour for Sunday school…we have two.  Our first hour starts at 8:45 a.m. and our second hour starts at 10 a.m.  Those who wish to go to the first hour can then move on to our traditional worship service for the whole church that starts at 10 a.m.; and those who wish to take part in our 2nd hour can attend our contemporary service at 11:30 a.m.
