A Note From the Minister
One day you are going to stand in front of Jesus Christ – whether as one of His children or as an unbeliever – and your knee will bow and confess Him as Lord (Phil. 2:10). How He responds to you will make all the difference in your life for the rest of eternity. For unbelievers the message will be “depart from me” (Matt. 7:23), but for believers it will be a time of rewards for their earthly service (I Cor. 3:11-15).
As the youth pastor here, I first want to make sure that you are known by the God of the universe as one of His children (Jn. 10:27), which can only happen through His Son, Jesus Christ. Secondly, I want you to develop your relationship with Christ, so much so, that you are fulfilling what is said of us in Ephesians 2:10:
“For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works,
which God prepared in advance for us to do.”
Why should you come to Shandon’s youth group? Because we will help you prepare for that day when you meet Jesus. We offer various ministries where you can serve, annual missions trips, summer camps, weekly Bible studies, and personal discipleship times. And what’s better yet is that we have fun while we do it.
