Welcome to the Worship Arts Center at Shandon! The Worship Arts Center is a Ministry of Shandon Baptist Church that is designed to “artistically and spiritually train worshippers and future worship leaders.” We are thrilled to offer opportunities for musicians and artists of all ages and levels of experience. Join us as we explore and develop our God-given talents in a safe, Christian environment through private instruction, group classes, Children’s and Student Choir.
We are excited to offer individual musical instruction on instruments and voice as well as group instruction in dance, guitar and voice. All instruction is given by highly qualified staff members who love the Lord. Whether you are just beginning study or continuing to develop your talents and passion, we have a place waiting for you in our studios.
Alongside our worship arts studios, we are thrilled to continue and strengthen the tradition of our Children’s and Student music by offering opportunities to actively participate in Worship Arts Ministry Big Events. Come join us as we enjoy the friendships and excitement that come with worshipping through music and movement!
We firmly believe that the worship arts can be used to make the Lord’s name known, connect people to Him, and offer opportunity for great fun! We would love to talk with you about how the Worship Arts Center can serve you and your family as we grow in and serve the Lord together.

What is the Worship Arts Center?
The Worship Arts Center is designed to “artistically and spiritually train worshippers and future worship leaders”, in a safe, Christian learning environment where Students and Faculty can develop and share their passions for the Arts. The Worship Arts Center is a ministry of Shandon Baptist Church intended to build upon and strengthen the rich tradition of meaningful and exciting worship already present in the Worship Arts Ministry at Shandon.
Who are Worship Arts Center Students?
Private and Group instruction through the Worship Arts Center is open to anyone who has a desire to study one of the Arts! Our highly qualified faculty is excited to meet students who are just beginning their study as well as those who already have experience in their chosen discipline. There are no entrance requirements and students of all ages are accepted. We would love to talk to you about your interests and needs in instruction as you begin the registration process.
Who are the Worship Arts Center Faculty?
Faculty members of the Worship Arts Center are not only passionate about the Worship Arts, they are highly qualified in their area of expertise. Having earned a degree in their chosen discipline or proven teaching and performing experience comparable to a degree, our faculty members have invested themselves heavily in the Arts. In addition to providing you artistic and developmental instruction in your area of study, faculty members of the WAC are committed to creating a safe environment for learning and encouraging you spiritually as you use your talents to glorify God. To ensure your safety, all Faculty Members of the WAC have consented to and passed thorough background checks as part of their application process.
