Young Marrieds
God created marriage to be fun and exciting. Along the journey, it is also challenging and difficult. The Young Married Adult Ministry at Shandon seeks to help young couples enjoy marriage while preparing them to embrace and endure life’s challenges. With marriages beginning, babies arriving, and a challenging job market our ministry is here for these couples to receive love and support.
Our young couples meet weekly on Sunday mornings to engage God’s life changing truth and to learn how to apply it in every day life. God has a defined purpose for our marriages and we seek to explore and discover that purpose through His Word. Additional opportunities to learn about parenting, managing finances, and building a Christian family are shared throughout the year. Our desire is to see couples grow together with each other and with God.
Engaged Couples
Through the Young Married Adult Ministry, Shandon also offers a unique opportunity for engaged and newly married couples. Engaged couples and newlyweds will have the opportunity to be taught and mentored by couples that have already been there, and have many life experiences to share. Fellowship and recreation times are vital to the strength of this ministry.
